My Story
My name is Chris Herrmann. I was born and raised in Tomball, TX, where baseball quickly became the central passion of my life. From a very young age I fell in love with the game and became obsessed with the idea of one day playing in Major League Baseball. I pushed myself above and beyond what was expected to turn that dream into reality. The road to my goal took many different pathways and detours, yet I treated every obstacle as a challenge that would bring me one step closer to success. The daily struggles and sacrifices required by this sport are what built the resilience that carried me through my career.
I have always believed that hard work will outlast talent when effort is sustained. I wasn’t always the biggest, the fastest, or the strongest while growing up, but I learned to refine and perfect my skills within the limits of the abilities I had. I knew that if I worked harder than everyone else on the field, the results would eventually show during games and increase my chances of reaching the league.
Given my baseball experience and résumé, it would be a disservice not to give back and help the next generation of young players. You can count on me to teach your children the fundamentals of hitting and catching, as well as the often-overlooked side of the sport: the mental approach, preparation, and mindset that separate good players from great ones.
